Movie about a man who withers away from a diseased pie?

What is the title of the movie where a man does something and starts withering away (losing weight, etc) and to get rid of it he has to cut his hand and put his blood in a pie. I think he has to get someone else to eat it in order to get rid of his disease. Older movie, maybe 1990's. Thanks!
