Can you discern who this biblical character is?

I looked into the water of the Word and saw who I was, for the Sun of Righteousness shown down from heaven and His light of revelation let me see my reflection in it. The heavens were filled with a cloud of witnesses to this, and so I pondered what the water would have me do. Thus I walked through the valleys of the lowly to lift them to glory. And then I walked atop the mountain peaks of the proud to abase them. After this, I walked among the crooked people to straighten their paths. The Lord then sent me among the glorious people to declare comfort to Jerusalem rather than the axe of destruction. So I turned the hearts of the fathers of the faith to their Christian offspring and the children to their Hebrew fathers, restoring all things of Scripture and mysteries therein. Yeah, I was taken up in a whirlwind of heavenly activity, blazing with the fire of the Spirit. I told the people that their lives are as the fading of flowers and withering of grass! Nevertheless some of them would not hear me, for my mantle of authority to rightly divide the waters of the Word was the sackcloth of humility in their eyes; for they knew me to be a man of common desires. And even if I were to prevent the rain of God's Word from being sent down from heaven, they would not believe. If I mocked them, they would only see me as a zealot and fanatic. Yet God instructed me to remove the stumblingblock of Christ from before the feet of the Hebrews and place it as the chief cornerstone in their vision. So I counted myself a drunk among them and went in every house during Passover and drank wine from my cup. Finally, God gave me a loud trumpet of warning, telling me that when I blew the trumpet, the children of the great false prophet Mohammad would kill me in the streets of Egypt. But I did it anyway, for I could not help it. Even as I could not help but multiply the oil of anointing during spiritual famine in times past. Yes I did it, and I was killed once again, awaiting the third day rising of the Sun of Righteousness. Perhaps some of you will know my name as I prepare the way put before me? Perhaps in pride I might introduce myself by the fruits of my words rather than the fame of my name. Would you know me if I spoke to you in spiritual terms? Would you see me rise from the dead, though I am not Messiah, neither worthy of my glorious God? Yet I am, and yet I rise once more to speak of the glory. If you know my riddle and mystery, I assure you, you have heard from me. I'm pressed as olives to produce the oil of the Spirit's anointing, that all will have light into the Most Holy in heaven. Until then, I go to mount a white horse, which is to lead a pure movement of God moving beneath me. These words I speak to you awaken the Spirit.
