Should I stay at my current job for paid maternity or take a better job and lose those benefits?

Currently I am on a leave of absence while I'm pregnant. I am receiving short term disability payments and will continue to receive them until the baby is born. I am looking to switch jobs and better my career but by doing so I will probably not have a paid maternity leave. I want to switch jobs to better mine and my baby's future but is risking not getting paid for 6 weeks too much? Are there paid benefits I can receive while starting this new job that I am unaware of? I live in Wisconsin if that helps. Thank you in advance!
