I need help in regards to what directly causes OCD to manifest itself.?

I need information in regards to what causes OCD to manifest itself during times of great stress, pain, and workload. I am currently writing a VA disability claim and I need evidence that supports the fact that the depression and problems were caused by the conditions of my job itself.
